Easter Seals/UCP of North Carolina

Kirby & Holt has a long tradition of representing children with cerebral palsy and other disabilities. Through this representation, we have been blessed with the opportunity to come to know many special children and their families.

We also feel the need to give generously to help those other than our clients who suffer from cerebral palsy. At the request of Easter Seals UCP North Carolina, a charitable organization that provides services for disabled children, including children with cerebral palsy, Kirby & Holt agreed to be the lead sponsor for the annual fund raising event  for Easter Seals/UCP in the Raleigh area. Those events, which Kirby & Holt has sponsored for several years, have included annual charity auctions and a golf tournament.

Additionally, our firm, through donations from the Kirby & Holt Foundation and Mark Holt, has established the Carli Snell Endowment Fund, which provides in-home therapies to clients of the Easter Seals UCP Center in Charlotte. Mark Holt is a founding board member and serves on the Board of Directors of the Horizons Foundation of Easter Seals UCP North Carolina, the organization’s non-profit foundation.

In recognition of Kirby & Holt’s ongoing contributions to the organization, the firm was very pleased to be awarded the Easter Seals/UCP “Philanthropist of the Year Award.”.
