Colleen Yopp, former hospital risk manager, joins Kirby & Holt staff

Colleen Yopp, a registered nurse with a background in both children's rehabilitation and risk management, has joined the Kirby & Holt nursing staff.  Colleen came to the firm from Memphis, Tennessee, where she was Clinical Risk Manager at Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center.  She previously worked clinically, and began her risk management career at Nationwide Children's in Columbus, Ohio, a Top Twenty pediatric hospital.  Colleen's nursing background includes work as a pediatric rehabilitation and pediatric home health nurse.

Colleen's valuable experience with hospitals in developing safety protocols and addressing incidents involving injuries to patients will greatly assist in the firm's practice in representing patients who are the victims of negligence.  Her rehabilitation background also will help ensure that injured children receive appropriate care.
