The publication Law and Politics has honored Laurie Armstrong, choosing her as a “Rising Star.” The magazine describes Rising Stars as the top up-and-coming attorneys who have been practicing for 10 years or fewer. Rising Stars are selected by a vote of practicing attorneys from across North Carolina.
Laurie, who is both an attorney and a registered nurse, began her work with the firm in 1993 as a legal nurse consultant. She became an attorney in 2004, and concentrates her practice on medical negligence cases, particularly those involving injuries to infants and children. She has coauthored seminar presentations and publications on the evaluation of medical malpractice cases and the effective presentation of damage issues.
