The utilization of a nursing staff is nothing new at Kirby & Holt. We've relied heavily on help from our nurses for medical research and strategy since our firm began in 1993. In that respect, we are unique among North Carolina law firms.
Collectively, our nurses have experience in nearly all areas of nursing including labor and delivery, neonatal intensive care, cardiac, adult, pediatric and burn care. Our nurses help carefully review new cases along with our attorneys. In their reviews, they undertake extensive interviews, review of medical records, consult experts and conduct medical research.
Once a case is taken, our nurses work side-by-side with our attorneys in shepherding the case through the litigation process. They provide invaluable insight into medical issues and assist with the location of the country's most respected and qualified medical specialists to participate as experts in your case. In preparing for and participating at trial, our nurses help with exhibit preparation, the accumulation of medical literature, and witness preparation.
